Similar to the previous one, but different nonetheless. It was created with the support of the Shipyard Foundation and was designed by designer Aleksandra Pękala. We love this logo because of its symbolism and ambiguity.
The logo depicts our house, patchwork and made of different bricks and pieces (like us). Apart from that, the drawing of the house itself is extremely important to us. It is something that appeared actually by chance at one of our first events even before the war broke out. After it started, the house gained further symbolic significance. We want to be a place of security and hope for our families. We want to be a house full of support and encouragement.
Home is not just a nice word, in our case it is also a real action - since the beginning of the war, thanks to the support of partner projects (ChSON "Ognisko", L' Arche Foundation (project з PFRON), Poland-Ukraine Institute Foundation), our grant money (HIAS Poland, Polish Forum of People with Disabilities) together we have supported more than 75 refugee families with children with disabilities from Ukraine with monthly rent. Some we were able to help for 2-3 months, others for much longer. In some cases, due to project and budget constraints, we were not able to provide financial support. Nevertheless, we tried to support these families through personal contacts, providing necessary information, etc.
This is what our symbolic house of many faces looks like. Check out its new version!
