Today marks three years since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began. Three years of pain, fear, but also incredible courage, determination and solidarity. Millions of people have been forced to leave their homes, seeking refuge and safety in other countries.
One of these people is Alesia, a girl from Ukraine who lives with autism and has started a new life in Poland with her mother Natalia. Their story is full of challenges, But also support and hope. Thanks to our support from the Plan International Poland Foundation, Alesia was able to return to school, find new friends and feel part of the community again.
